A Charlie Brown Christmas, no question. (The original 30 min...not the 2nd hodge-podged 30 minutes they tacked on more recently... "Now we have wrong-sounding Muppets Peanuts") Nobody ever believes me when I put the boxed set of Charlie Brown Holiday DVDs on my gift list, but it's a guilty pleasure about which I refuse to feel guilt...I love the simplicity of all Charlie Brown specials, and the music has never failed to put me in a good mood.
Speaking ofPeanuts Muppets, I also love A Muppet Christmas Carol. I haven't seen that one in a few years, though.
I've only seen It's a Wonderful Life once (either last year or the year before), and I actually liked it. I don't get why it's usually on TV 926,450,761 times between Halloween and New Year's, however (OK, I know, it probably has something to do with something un-holiday-like, like cheap copyright blah blah blah...)
I'm normally not a schmaltzy-feel-good-movie type of person, but pretty much all other "holiday" movies are crap-in-a-box.
